BITSAT : Application Form, Exam, Syllabus, Eligibility, Pattern, Question Papers
BITSAT official notification will be released by the third week of December 2023. Candidates
will be able to check the BITSAT exam dates along with the official notification at
bitsadmission.com. BITSAT will be conducted as a computer-based test for all eligible
candidates, tentatively in two sessions. To participate in the examination and admission
process, the candidates must fill out and submit the BITSAT application form before the
final date, which will be announced soon. If the candidates fail to complete their BITSAT
registration, then they will not be allowed to attempt the entrance exam. Registered
candidates will be allowed to access and download the BITSAT hall ticket after they have
completed the slot booking process. The moderated scores obtained in the entrance exam will
be released through the BITSAT result/scorecard. Qualified candidates will have to
participate in the BITSAT counselling process. Allotment of seats will be done based on the

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria
Before commencing the registration process, the candidates are advised to check the official BITSAT 2024 eligibility criteria. If the candidates are not able to meet the eligibility criteria, then they will disqualified from the admission process. For admission to any of the First Degree programmes of BITS except BPharm (Hons): The candidates should have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must have adequate proficiency in English. Should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. For admission to BPharm (Hons): Should have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must have adequate proficiency in English. However, candidates with PCMB in Class 12 can also apply for the Pharmacy programme at BITS campuses. The candidates should have obtained a minimum aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (and Maths, if they are PCMB students) subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (and Maths, if they are PCMB students) subjects. Additional Eligibility Criteria to Keep in Mind: Only students who are appearing for the 12th standard examination in 2024 or have passed in 2021 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT 2024. Students who have passed their Class 12 examination in 2020 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT 2024. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in the 12th standard or its equivalent, only his/her latest performance will be considered, provided this attempt had been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Candidates who are presently studying in any of the BITS campuses will not be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2024. Admissions will be made purely on a merit basis. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT 2024. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the Class 12 board exam, as mentioned above.FAQ
BITSAT 2024 application form dates will be announced soon. The authorities will release the BITSAT application form 2024 at the official website - bitsadmission.com. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form of BITSAT 2024 before the final date. The authorities will not accept applications after the last date. Separate applications will be accepted for the different phases of BITSAT 2024.

Yes. Candidates who are appearing for the 12th standard qualifying entrance examination on the admission year will be considered eligible for admissions through BITSAT. However, the candidates will be required to meet the basic BITSAT eligibility criteria that will be prepared and released by the authorities. If the candidates are allotted, then they will be required to show their qualification and other necessary documents at the time of verification. Failure to show the documents will result in the cancellation of admission.
Yes, the candidates will be given the chance to correct their mistakes in the BITSAT application form. Registered candidates will be able to log in and edit/correct the details that they have previously submitted in the application form of BITSAT. However, not all details will be open for corrections. After the final date, the authorities will not accept any requests for corrections. It is to be noted that the correction facility will be a one-time process.
